California-based PV manufacturer Solaria Corp. has raised $40 million to double its current production capacity to close to 500 megawatts by year’s end.

Solaria Corporation announced that the company will more than double production capabilities by the end of the year, an increase made possible by $40 million in growth funding from leading strategic and financial investors. With this current expansion, the Oakland-headquartered panel maker will have achieved made company history with two such events in the span of a year.
