Job Title

Co-Founder and COO

Job Description

It is my responsibility to ensure that our customers have the greatest experience possible going solar with us. We want our customers to know how important they are to us, and that they will be well taken care of. I work closely with our employees to ensure that our processes and customer interactions achieve this by providing great customer service, communication, workmanship, and an overall high level of professionalism.

Education and Training

BS Mechanical Engineering – University of Massachusetts, and a BT Mechanical Engineering – Rochester Institute of Technology. Formal solar training completed at Alt-E University and Solar Energy International (SEI).

Expertise and Background

As a business owner, it is important to bring to our customers products of the highest quality that will provide years of reliable operation. As an engineer it is easy to see how outstanding SunPower products are, because of their unique design and manufacturing process. I am proud that we have so closely aligned ourselves with SunPower, by becoming a Master Dealer.

Prior to founding BlueSel, I was a partner and manager in an engineering firm that developed automated machinery for production and packaging, heavily utilizing vision systems and robotics. My background also includes the construction of energy efficient homes, and three years at Boston University’s Neuromuscular Research Center providing engineering support to both graduate and doctoral candidates research projects.

Best part of the job:

It is very rewarding to be a part of an industry that is really making a difference for our environment and future generations. And, equally rewarding is knowing how wonderful financially the decision to go solar is for our customers. It is a true win win business to be in.

Other interests:

Sharing fun times with friends, often centered around outdoor activities, music, or great food.

The things you like to do in the sun:

Living near the ocean is what brought me to Cape Cod. The beaches are beautiful, and just draw you out on a sunny day for a walk or swim. I am fortunate to have a sailboat and very much enjoy time on the water sailing around Buzzards Bay. Also, the Cape has a very active running and biking community, which I too enjoy participating in.
